UNDERSTANDING TYPE 1 DIABETES
MyWay Digital Health are working in collaboration with NHS England to deliver a FREE online 2-day Understanding Type 1 Diabetes course.
The 2-day course will run on Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th May 2023. Online material can be completed anytime during the day and the course will stay open until Monday 22nd May at 5pm.
Day 1 on Wednesday 17th May will cover what type 1 diabetes is, blood glucose monitoring and insulin.
Day 2 on Thursday 18th May will cover the complications of diabetes and topics related to living with diabetes such as driving, travel, alcohol, physical activity, and sick day guidance.
Join a live Q&A session on ZOOM with diabetes experts each day from 6-7pm (BST) to ask any questions you have about managing type 1.
The course is open to all who are interested in learning more about type 1 diabetes, particularly those who are diagnosed as well as those who support someone with type 1.
