We are now able to finalise the provision of flu and COVID vaccinations by your GP surgery. Unfortunately it is not possible to provide both together due to different delivery schedules and so flu vaccinations will be provided at your GP practice as normal. Your surgery will advise when clinics are available to book.
Covid vaccinations will be given at Wincanton Community Hospital and patients will be invited to book their covid vaccination in order of the eligibility criteria. Therefore patients over the age of 80 will be contacted first to book their Covid vaccination appointment for early September. The Rural Practice Network (RPN) consisting of Bruton Surgery, Milborne Port Surgery, Millbrook Surgery, Queen Camel Medical Centre and Wincanton Health Centre will be administering Covid vaccinations every Saturday and Sunday from the beginning of September.
