Training Practice

Queen Camel Medical Centre offers an extremely high standard of care and thus is a training practice for the next generation of doctors.

The doctors in training can be:

Medical Students who are usually from Bristol University on a 2 week placement.

F2 doctors. These are qualified doctors who are at the beginning of their career before specialist training.

GP Registrars. These are qualified doctors who have completed at least 4 years post qualification training and are in the final year of their specialist training to be a GP.

All doctors in training posts are carefully supervised by the GP partners, either at the time of consultation or afterwards by discussion of the case. The level of supervision will obviously depend on the experience of the trainee but if you as a patient would like to discuss the case with a senior GP, then please ask.
